A Little About Me

What drives me to be a coach

As a teenager, I joined a local boxing club and developed a great passion for fitness and became obsessed with it. I became physically and mentally strong and would always seek to challenge myself. My dream was to become a soldier, so as soon as I finished school, I immediately joined the army. 5 years on I'm still in active service.

At the age of 18 I got injured which led me to begin my exploration into nutrition, exercise, and psychology. I was determined to educate myself and spent a lot of time reading, listening to different material to find out "why people get injured?", "why do most people don’t heal from injuries?" and "what is the solution?". I found out that Lifestyle choices were absolutely key and that everybody is different.

CHEK approach uses the 4 Doctor approach: Dr Diet, Dr Movement, Dr Quiet and Dr Happiness. Most information online and in the books were exactly the opposite, they were solely focusing on 1 or 2 aspects and neglecting everything else. No improvement in health can be achieved if one of these aspects are neglected, every individual has to be assessed differently and no program suits everybody. This is why I spend my time studying the CHEK approach because I know I can help people because it is practical, and it works.
